Reading: Our main story this week was, Here’s
My Dollar. Students learned
about the importance of getting involved in the community and how individuals
can make a huge difference. In
this story, students practiced finding the author’s purpose. They also worked on figuring out the
meaning of key vocabulary words through sentence clues. We also read a Time for Kids article
about the future of libraries.
Students found evidence in the article to support claims made by the author.
