A New Year!

After reading The Giving Tree, students thought about what they give our class.  They did a wonderful job thinking of abstract nouns!

Students also created goals for the new school year!

This week, we started Reader's Workshop.  We discussed what our roles are during reading time and how to choose a just right book!
